The combined annual training camp for 60 NCC Girl Cadets of Army Wing Senior Division of Bhuj and Jamnagar was conducted on ICGS Jakhau on Wednesday, says a Defence release.

During the visit cadets were taken on an organized tour of ICGS Jakhau, 68 ACV Squadron, and onboard ships based at Jakhau harbour.
The cadets were briefed on various capabilities of ACVs and ships and importance of role performed by them in undertaking maritime surveillance, search and rescue operations at IMBL. The cadets were also explained about navigational and engineering equipment installed onboard ICG platforms. Further, the visit culminated with a brief presentation of ICG roles and responsibilities followed by group photography, the statement added..
The visit was a motivating factor for the cadets for joining Armed Forces and further strengthened their national pride.
