AHMEDABAD, SEP 28
Around 35 members of FICCI FLO Ahmedabad Chapter have visited the Zen Kaizen Garden located at ATIRA Campus, Ahmedabad Management Association in Ahmedabad on September 25.
Recently Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated the Zen Kaizen. It is a unique project in India comprising an authentic Japanese Zen Garden and a Kaizen academy. This project symbolises Indo- Japanese relationships through state relationships between Gujarat and Hyogo prefecture of Japan and the sister City relationship between Kobe and Ahmedabad.
The garden consists of various elements of a typical Zen garden-like Tori Gate, Waterfall, Bridge, etc. This has been possible through the activities of the Japan Center at AMA & the Indo-Japanese Friendship Association.
Deevyesh J Radia, President of AMA explained the history of exchange programs between Japan’s state and Gujarat to the FLO team. Later, the FLO group visited the Japanese Center at AMA, where Japanese language is taught and various activities related to Japanese culture are carried out.
Over refreshment of tea and Maskabun, a small presentation was also shared by the Association. Overall, it was a very enriching meet.
