The 88th birthday of renowned award-winning senior journalist and children’s author Yashwant Mehta was celebrated with great pomp and show by Om Communication here on Thursday.

Yashwant Mehta’s family was also present along with a large number of literature lovers.
The writer narrated his 88-year-old life story in an emotional manner.
Incidentally, he had translated Tamil classics Silappathikaram and Manimegalai into Gujarati.
Yashwant Mehta was honored with a garland, shawl, and a book of Shrimad Bhagwat Gita by Gujarat Journalists Union .
