To commemorate the 88th Foundation Day, the Purasaiwalkam branch of the Indian Overseas Bank has undertaken various CSR activities here on Saturday.
Peoples’ representative from Egmore Assembly constituency I Paranthamen participated as chief guest and gave away tri-cycles to the underprivileged and the needy differently-abled persons in the presence of Davender Kumar, Chief Regional Manager – Region I, Chennai and other staff members of the bank.
- Egmore MLA collects Rs 2.35 lakh cheque for donation to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Relief Fund
- The branch also conducts a medical camp for the local people and its customers
- Chief Regional Manager of Chennai Region I Davender Kumar fetes customers who have long relationship with the Purasaiwalkam branch
⇑ A cheque of Rs. 2,35,650 contributed by the Purasaiwalkam branch was also handed over to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to Egmore MLA I Paranthamen.
As part of the CSR activities the Purasaiwalkam branch also conducted a medical camp for the local people and its customers.
