AHMEDABAD, JAN 4
BNI Prometheus, a part of Business Network International (BNI), the world’s largest business networking and referral organisation, marked its 8th foundation day here on Wednesday.
BNI Prometheus came into existence on January 4, 2014, and has grown into one of the most happening chapters of BNI Ahmedabad. The chapter held its 416th weekly meeting when it marked the momentous occasion on Wednesday.
The chapter has 75 members at present and has had a little over 200 members since its inception. Despite the unprecedented economic disruptions caused by the Covid pandemic, the chapter has facilitated business transactions of more than Rs 283 crore in the eight years of its existence and its members have passed on over 34,000 referrals to other members.
“It is indeed a pleasure to be a part of a thriving chapter like BNI Prometheus. The secret of BNI is the passion of its members and their commitment to the growth and development of the business of their fellow members. This has also been the driving force of BNI Prometheus for the past eight years. The chapter has facilitated and established many strong business relations and contributed to growth, but I am confident that we have just begun. The future awaits many more and bigger milestones as we take BNI Prometheus to greater heights,” said Kinjal Shah, President of BNI Prometheus.
BNI Prometheus chapter’s members come from an array of business sectors, including engineering, travel, insurance, software, hardware, advertising, construction, finance, retail, health, employment, manufacturing, real estate, automobiles, food & beverages, etc.
“Two of our members have been a part of BNI Prometheus since the chapter’s inception. Ten others have been members for over five years. This itself shows that the chapter is doing good work when it comes to supporting members’ business growth, which is why members want to continue to be a part of it,” said Anuj Shah, Vice President of BNI Prometheus.
As the Indian economy picks up pace, BNI Prometheus is committed to playing a bigger role in economic growth by facilitating more business transactions between its members as well as those from other chapters of BNI, said the chapter’s secretary and treasurer Hetal Budhia.
