EPFO Nagercoil Regional Office to hold Nidhi Apke Nikat-2.0 on Jan 27 to resolve grievances

In an attempt to expand its reach and attract more participation, the Nagercoil Regional Office of the Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) on Wednesday announced that it will hold “Nidhi Apke Nikat-2.0” for its stakeholders.

The outreach program Nidhi Aapke Nikat for the month of January-2023 will be conducted on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 9.00 am to 05.45 pm at the office premises of Regional Office, Nagercoil, said Pankaj Verma, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-II.

“The EPFO, Nagercoil has decided to conduct an outreach program in the name of Nidhi Aapke Nikat-2.0 for EPFO stakeholders. The approach will be reaching out to the stakeholders,  thereby increasing accessibility of EPFO services and visibility of the organization, with regular periodicity.  In this context, Nidhi Aapke Nikat for the month of January-2023 will be conducted on 27^th January-2023 from 9.00 am to 05.45 pm at the office premises of Regional Office, Nagercoil.  It will be a broad based participatory awareness and outreach program for the employees and employers simultaneously acting as a grievance redressal platform for members and information exchange network,” says an EPFO release.

The grievances can be represented or submitted by the covered establishments, members, local CBT members, Regional Committee members, office-bearer of industrial associations & trade unions, PF members, pensioners, etc.

The grievances can be in the nature of non-settlement of PF or Pension, for settlement of inoperative accounts, non-deduction/non remittance of PF/Pension contributions, non-receipt of UAN, correction in member name/Date of Birth/Date of Joining/Date of Leaving, non receipt of pension etc.  Members/Pensioners /Employers/other participants who have grievances related to pension disbursement, Provident fund eligibility can attend the Nidhi Aapke Nikat and submit/raise their grievances/issues.  In addition the members who are superannuating on attaining 58 years within three months can attend Nidhi aapke Nikat to clear their doubts regarding submission of Pension documents, the statement added.

Moreover the establishments covered under the EPF& MP Act, 1952 can avail this opportunity for getting assistance in EPFO initiatives, doubts regarding coverage, Act and Scheme provisions, matters relating to ECR tool, allotment of UAN and enrolment of new employees.

The stake holders who intent to attend the said Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0  program may register their grievances directly in personor by post through the Office mail id ro.nagercoil@epfindia.gov.in.
