Rajya Sabha MP and President of the Gujarat State Football Association (GSFA) on Saturday greeted the members of the National Senior Women’s Football Team in Ahmedabad.

The Indian Senior Womens’ Football Team is embarking on an international tour after finishing their coaching camp at Ahmedabad. The 33 member team along with the coach and the Manager is leaving for Jordan on March 16, 2023 to play two friendly matches and another match in Uzbekistan by the end of this month. After that the team will play two Olympic qualifier matches in Kirgizstan in the beginning of April.
Addressing the players, Nathwani thanked Sports Authority of Gujarat (S.A.G.) for organizing coaching camp in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
The team is also expected to come back to Gujarat for the coaching camp again. GSFA officials including Vice President Arunsinh Rajput, Secretary Mulrajsinh Chudasma, Executive Committee Members Divyarajsinh Rana and Shapath Shah remained present on this occasion, says a release.
