Five decade old SRM Nightingale Matriculation Higher Secondary School celebrated its 55th annual day at Vani Mahal in Chennai. The annual day was named as ANURATI.
A release from the school said that Royal Thai Consul General Nitirooge Phoneprasert participated as Chief Guest and released the school magazine ‘PETALS’.
School toppers for the academic year 2021-2022 were honoured with certificates.
Colourful cultural programmes depicting aimperum kappiyangal (Five great epics in Tamil) – Silapathikaram, Manimekalai, Kundalakesi, Valayapathi and Seevagasinthamani – by the students attracted the audience.
Mr. P. Manikandan, Motivational Speaker was the guest of honour. Mr. S. Niranjan, President SRM University, Trichy and Ramapuram campuses presided over the function and gave away presidential address.
Prof. N. Sethuraman, Chief Director, SRM Group of Institutions and Dr. C. Sundar, Dean, Management Studies, SRMIST Ramapuram and the School advisory member gave felicitation address, the release added.
