To empower women-led start-ups, VSOL SRPS Pvt Ltd has given the second franchisee to the women entrepreneurs Vaishali Patel, a law graduate and Prachi Thakkar, BBA, in Ahmedabad.
After the inauguration, Dr Kavita Rao, said, “After proving their excellence in the fields of education and service oriented fields, women have become entrepreneurs. Being the best manager in leading the household as well as business, if they get a chance women are no way behind the men”.
Jalpa Joshipura, Founder of Evolv, a women entrepreneurs group, said, “The next decade is set to belong to woman entrepreneurs. Several government schemes and supportive measures to women have been pushing them to not sit behind and now take the lead from the front as business entrepreneurs”.
Commenting on this, VSOL SRPS Pvt Ltd Founder and Chairman Vishal B Thakkar said, “As the Government of India has a great vision for women entrepreneurs, we are happy to take this forward. We are committed to providing our franchise to women and young entrepreneurs to give them the right opportunity to create employment for many youth. Today’s chief guests are also both women, who are leaders in their fields and have good reputations.”
Explaining the company’s business strategy, Vishal B Thakkar added, “We are India’s first company for multiband two-wheelers’ Servicing, Refurbishing, Pre-owned vehicle solutions & Spare parts. It was established in 2015. We have developed our project models after practical experience of over 20,000 vehicles at our own outlets in three different locations. Our project models are unique and advanced with skilled technicians. Refurbishing will expand the lifecycle of the vehicles by 7 to 8 years.”
“We will soon start offering a comprehensive range of solutions for electric vehicles, and provide options for new two-wheeler bookings & deliveries. With a vision to be the fastest growing company in the automobile industry, we will provide total value-added vehicle solutions to all our customers. Our mission is to build a franchise network of over 5,500 with multi-brand outlets across the country by developing young entrepreneurs over a period of 5 years,” Thakkar added.
