Film making is not a child’s play. One should have adequate knowledge and training to keep the audience in their seat with good content and story-telling. ‘Parunthaagadhu Oor Kuruvi’ director Dhanabalan Govindaraj has presented a documentary as a full-fledged film. Had he avoided some initial flaws the film would have made a great impact among crime-thriller fans.
Trailer:
Actor Nishant who plays the role of Aadhi, a minor offender caught by police with a bike gets in to a trap while assisting police officials with ulterior motive in finding a murder spot inside thick forest.
After the Sub Inspector took him to two to three spots he finally finds a man Maaran (Vivek Prasanna) unconscious.
Aadhi got perturbed after sensing the man (Vivek Prasanna) still breathing while he was handcuffed by the SI to inform the inspector. While Aadhi sensing Maaran was breathing, the victim’s phone ringing. When he took the mobile and had conversation with his wife Gayathri Iyer at the other end crying to safeguard her husband Maaran and promised to pay hefty amount if he saves him.
With a view to grab the money, Aadhi shouldered Maaran with hardship and the duo were on the run and whether both of them survive is the rest of the story.
Director Dhanabalan Govindarajan’s passion on story-telling falls short of expectation, the beautiful location and cinematography enhances the film. Though the move has intriguing subject, it ultimately failed in execution.
Romance between Vivek Prasanna and Gayathri Iyer were awesome and portray Gayathri Iyer as actress is admirable.
