AMNS International School has once again put Surat on the global map with the exhilarating dance performances by its students at the Desh Raag Bharat Sanskriti Yatra Festival.
Florida University, Bharat Sanskriti Yatra, Hindu Parishad Thailand, Nrutyadham Kala Samiti, and Hindustan Art and Music Society, collaborated to organise the 18th Global Festival of Art and Culture in Pattaya, Thailand, from July 5 to 9. The Desh Raag Bharat Sanskriti Yatra Festival aims to promote Indian classical music and dance on a global scale.
Fourteen students of AMNS International School, studying in classes 3 to 7, were among the winners from the 72 participants from Thailand, the US, Nepal, Bangladesh, Japan, and India.

Diva Denis Thakkar secured the first position in solo classical dance for her dance moves in Bharatnatyam. Additionally, Saanvi Mistry, Foram Mevawala, Yoshita Sana, Manya Kansara, Dhriti Darji, and Fairy Patel secured the second position, while Hiranyaa Sanchihar received the third prize.

In the sub-junior category of solo classical dance, Dhwiti Desai and Zenisha Patel secured the second position, while Devinaa Bhatia excelled in the junior category of solo folk dance and secured the first position. The school’s students, Mrigank Kothari and Aniket Agarwal, also impressed the judges and secured the first position in the junior category of duet folk dance.
