The Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research, and Management (IITRAM), Ahmedabad announced the kickstarting of a two-day Industry-Academia Conclave at its campus on Friday.
Dr. Vipin Kumar, Director and Chief Innovation Officer at India’s National Innovation Foundation inaugurated the event and delivered the keynote address on Friday.
The Industry-Academia Conclave serves as a vital platform for academia and industry to converge, fostering discussions on innovation and education. Dr. Kumar highlighted the benefits of integrating grassroots innovation into barriers operation.
Industry-academic collaborations have long been seen as a win-win-win as companies access top talent for research and development; students gain marketable skills applying classroom learning to practical problems; and faculty gain more opportunities to solve problems that matter, he added.
This conclave features workshops, panel discussions, and presentations, focusing on areas such as technology transfer, research collaboration, and skill development.
“We are delighted to facilitate the Industry-Academia Conclave, promoting innovation and collaboration that empowers our students and researchers,” said Dr. BN Singh, Director General at IITRAM. The event promises a dynamic exchange of ideas, setting the stage for transformative partnerships.
