Kalorex Future School – Ghatlodia hosted its Annual Parenting Conference, Vatsalyam, on Friday, April 5, 2024. The conference focused on adapting strategies to meet the needs of diverse school communities, reflecting the school’s commitment to constant evolution in the face of changing times. It was attended by more than 1,100 parents.
The event was graced by Rohitbhai Chaudhry, DEO Ahmedabad City and Dr Manjula Pooja Shroff, MD & CEO of Kalorex Group, along with Anantha Krishnan Balasubramanian, CEO-Operations of Kalorex Group, Nirali Dagli, the Principal, and all the section heads.
Chaudhary discussed modern parenting and explained the “5 approaches” for raising children. He stressed the importance of teaching life skills and moral values alongside academics.
Dr Shroff discussed preparing children for challenges posed by Artificial Intelligence in the education world and addressed various issues of preteens, highlighting the fears they carry that need immediate attention. She emphasized the importance of fostering open and meaningful conversations between parents and children to create a nurturing environment conducive to growth, learning, and emotional well-being. She also encouraged the audience to exhibit patience, tactfulness, and adaptability to cater to the unique qualities of each child.
