Uno Lona Academy kicked off its highly anticipated Creative Futures event on Saturday, marking the first of a two-day celebration dedicated to fostering career pathways in the creative arts for students. The event, which aims to bring together consultants, educators, counselors, and colleges, has attracted a total footfall of 100-150 people.
Uno Lona Academy (ULA) specialises in art and design education for K-12 students, nurturing creativity and imagination to help learners achieve big, bold things in the future. ULA offers two key courses—Foundation and Portfolio—that raise awareness about art and design career options, build 21st-century skills, and provide a pathway to higher education in arts, design, and architecture.
“Creative Futures” is a career-focused event that brings together students, parents, educators, career consultants, and colleges in one place to build an ecosystem for creative career-building. This event raises awareness about art and design professions and provides access to the right people for accurate information about building a career in the creative fields.
“Creative Futures marks a pivotal step in our commitment to raising awareness about careers in the creative fields. India’s Creative Economy has a long way to go when compared to the global creative economy and we believe that this event can help build the ecosystem for children at an early stage and contribute towards better creative education,” says Harsimran Juneja, Co-Founder of Uno Lona Academy.
