Following the overwhelming success of the Shakti Sandhya Garba Season 2, Navratri enthusiasts have another opportunity to indulge in the festive garba spirit with the Sharad Purnima Utsav on Wednesday. The event will feature a grand performance by none other than “Dandiya King” Kirtidan Gadhvi, promising a night filled with energetic music and dance at one of Ahmedabad’s largest venues.
Pratik Amin, organiser of Shakti Sandhya Navratri, said, “Looking at the excellent response to the Navratri garba event, we are hosting a grand garba celebration on the occasion of Sharad Purnima. While the festival of Navratri is over, this special celebration is another chance for garba lovers to experience the thrill of this vibrant cultural tradition.”

With over 15,000 participants each night during Navratri, Shakti Sandhya Navratri season 2 became one of the most vibrant and talked-about events in the city, offering an immersive blend of traditional and contemporary garba. The Sharad Purnima Utsav will take place on the same grounds, which also hosted the centenary celebrations of Pramukh Swami Maharaj last year.
Known for his captivating voice and electrifying stage presence, Kirtidan Gadhvi, often referred to as “The God of Folk Singing”, is set to elevate the night’s festivities. A recipient of multiple Global Mirchi Music Awards and recognised by the Gujarat government as the Best Singer, Kirtidan is best known for his folk hits.
