SR Mehta Arts College, which is part of Navgujarat Group of Colleges, recently secured the runners-up position at the Gujarat University Inter-Collegiate 10 km Cross Country Competition held at Ambaji Mukam.
The event saw participation from 206 students across colleges. The college team, comprising Joshi Vaibhav, Parmar Prakash, Solanki Ganpat, Makwana Ayush, Sheikh Saad, and Sheikh Abdul Rahim, delivered an outstanding performance. All participants were appreciated by the Principal Dr Darsha Jani and Physical Education Teacher Dr Seema Qadri, who congratulated them for bringing pride to the institution.
નવગુજરાત ગ્રૂપ ઑફ કૉલેજિસનો હિસ્સો ગણાતી એસ. આર. મહેતા આર્ટસ કૉલેજે તાજેતરમાં અંબાજી મુકામ ખાતે યોજાયેલી ગુજરાત યુનિવર્સિટી ઇન્ટર-કૉલેજ 10 કિમી ક્રોસ કન્ટ્રી કૉમ્પિટિશનમાં રનર્સ-અપ તરીકેનું સ્થાન હાંસલ કર્યું હતું. આ કાર્યક્રમમાં વિવિધ કૉલેજોના 206 વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ ભાગ લીધો હતો. જોષી વૈભવ, પરમાર પ્રકાશ, સોલંકી ગણપત, મકવાણા આયુષ, શેખ સાદ અને શેખ અબ્દુલ રહીમનો સમાવેશ કરનારી કૉલેજની ટીમે ઉત્કૃષ્ટ પ્રદર્શન કર્યું. પ્રિન્સિપાલ ડૉ. દર્શા જાની અને ફીઝિકલ એજ્યુકેશનના શિક્ષક ડૉ. સીમા કાદરી દ્વારા તમામ સહભાગીઓને સન્માનિત કરવામાં આવ્યાં હતાં અને સંસ્થાનું ગૌરવ વધારવા બદલ તેમને અભિનંદન પાઠવ્યાં હતાં.
