AHMEDABAD, APRIL 15
The current lockdown scenario across the globe due to COVID – 19 has brought a huge amount of stress, sadness and depression in the minds of people. From the fear of losing jobs, huge losses in businesses to not being able to source minimum amount of grocery for the house to pay all kinds of rents and EMIs, many types of negative thoughts are breaking the morale of common man. Schools are closed and the educational future of lakhs of children is unsure. Uncertainty is everywhere and it seems that it’s the end of the world.
It’s during such emergencies and crises that progressive associations, corporate bodies, and motivational speakers have to identify opportunities and solutions. This is the time where human species needs to look around and explore potential and look at the success of the Positive Jindagi social networking platform as an emerging positive story.
Recently, Positive Jindagi celebrated Women’s Day in an impactful fashion and was conceptualizing many more exciting programmes ahead when the COVID – 19 pandemic struck bringing our homes and economies to a grinding halt. On the first day of a meeting hardly four people joined a forum and everything was dark and uncertain.
According to Kaushal Shah, founder and Idea Inventor of Positive Jindagi, “As a Social Networking Platform, Positive Jindagi is committed for the growth and development of our members and we knew that we have to power all of them as ambassadors of positivity and hope. And then we looked at Technology and Zoom applications as a possible solution to develop our members.”
Pallav Shah, Brand Communicator of Positive Jindagi, adds, “Our core objective was to try to speak to all members and ask them simple questions about the positive impact of Lockdown. We gave the Video challenges on interesting topics and asked them to spread a positive message through WhatsApp groups. We avoided all negative and fake information and only spread the good things across to keep all members connected and motivated.”
So the technology of ZOOM Applications came up as a great boon but Positive Jindagi had only three participants on Day 1 around April 1, 2020, as members hardly knew how to use the application. It was a huge setback and but Positive Jindagi still wanted to help the members and started a movement of inviting Positive Speakers to give expert positive thoughts to the members.
Elaborating on the rainbow of speakers who brought about the much-needed positive energy to the forum and its members, Paresh Dave, Community Manager, Positive Jindagi shares, “All speakers were different. While Mr Subhojit Sen spoke on Importance of communication, Mr Ramesh Tanna shared Positive Stories on simple living, Mr Nirav Shah spoke about business development, Mr Amit Khatri spoke on the importance of Road Safety and discipline, Mr Dinesh Majethiya spoke on the innovative educational programme and creating better citizens, Mrs Shivangi Desai spoke on parenting, Mr Sajeev Nair spoke on Thought Process Engineering and Mr Unmesh Dixit spoke on Role of Media.”
The results have been miraculous and just in 7 days more than 500 members have started joining the forum and our lives have started changing. We are looking at using the lockdown positively and keep people engaged with some positive and constructive impactful programmes which help the family on the whole. Special workshops for children are being planned to create positive future citizens.
Positive Jindagi is continuously active in the society with its community-driven programmes like Road Safety, Contributions to Jivdaya, Environment related activities and spreading awareness on No Plastics and No Spitting on the roads. And the platform needed to do much more for the community.
