In a remarkable feat reflecting resilience and industry trust, the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad has successfully completed 100% placements for its PGP-FABM (Post Graduate Programme in Food and Agribusiness Management) cohort, with 45 students slated to join organisations between April and June 2026.
The hybrid placement process unfolded smoothly despite a dynamic and evolving job market, underscoring IIMA’s strong industry linkages, academic rigour, and a flexible placement framework.
The cohort attracted robust participation from recruiters across diverse sectors, including Agri-Inputs, Agri-Tech, Consulting, FMCG, Food Processing, Commodity Trading, E-commerce, Pharmaceuticals, and ESG Consulting. Students secured roles spanning consulting, strategy, sales & marketing, and business development, highlighting the expanding horizons of the agribusiness ecosystem.
Sahyadri Farms emerged as the top recruiter, while prominent names such as Accenture, Grant Thornton Bharat, Ernst & Young, Godrej Agrovet, ITC Limited, Amul, and PI Industries continued their engagement.
The placement season also welcomed new recruiters such as Laila Group, Varaha, Prompt Equipments, Shoption, Areete Business Solutions, Tileswale Group, Ficus Food Labs, and Bighaat—signalling growing industry confidence in FABM graduates.
