Pandit Dr. Kashinath Mishra, a noted researcher of ancient wisdom and author of Bhavishya Malika, on Sunday presented a sweeping spiritual perspective linking present-day global tensions, sudden climate disturbances, and sacred omens to what he described as the final phase of Kaliyuga and the gradual dawn of a divine era beginning 2032.
Speaking at Shri Nimbark Narayan Teerthdham Prerana Peeth on Pirana Road, Mishra said humanity is witnessing a decisive transition foretold in ancient scriptures composed centuries ago by the Panchasakha saints.
“A global war cannot be ruled out, but India will endure through dharma”
Addressing concerns about a potential Third World War, he said: “The possibility of a global war cannot be ruled out as material powers continue to clash. However, India’s survival will not depend solely on military strength, but on its deep-rooted spiritual foundation and adherence to dharma.”
He added that India’s civilisational ethos would help it withstand and emerge from any large-scale global conflict.
“Sudden climate changes reflect imbalance in nature and human excess”
Explaining erratic weather patterns such as unseasonal rains and rapid seasonal shifts, Mishra observed: “The sudden climate changes we are witnessing are not merely scientific phenomena, but signs of a deeper imbalance in nature. Human greed, over-exploitation, and the absence of spiritual values have disturbed the natural order.”
He said ancient texts had already warned of such disruptions in times of moral decline.
“Jagannath Temple signs indicate a transition of ages”
Referring to reported unusual occurrences at the Jagannath Temple in Puri, he noted: “Events such as birds perching on the Neel Chakra, the temple flag tearing, and structural disturbances are not ordinary. These are symbolic indicators of an impending transition between ages.”
According to him, such signs align with descriptions found in Bhavishya Malika.
“Bhavishya Malika is a mirror of time — past, present, and future”
Elaborating on the scripture, Mishra said: “Bhavishya Malika is not merely prophecy; it is a reflection of the cycle of time. It establishes a clear connection between the past, present, and future.”
He claimed that the text, written around 600 years ago, remarkably corresponds with current geopolitical and environmental developments.
“The process of Kalki Avatar has begun — its impact will be felt from 2032”
On the question of the Kalki Avatar, he clarified: “The manifestation of Kalki is not a sudden event. The process has already begun, and its influence will become clearly felt across the world from 2032.”
He described it as a gradual unfolding of divine intervention.
“Kaliyuga is nearing its end; Satyuga will begin to emerge from 2032”
Reiterating his interpretation of scriptural timelines, Mishra said: “The final phase of Kaliyuga is now concluding. From 2032 onwards, the elements of Satyuga will begin to manifest — a phase that can be understood as the foundation of Ram Rajya.”
He added that this transition would be preceded by turbulence, including natural calamities and global instability.
Mishra concluded by emphasising that divine incarnation serves not only humanity but all living beings, and that lasting peace can only be achieved through devotion and righteous living.
The event was organised by Kanan Joshi along with a group of devotees and witnessed active participation from followers and spiritual seekers.
