MUMBAI, APR 1:
In a game-changing move for air travellers, Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL), in partnership with Blinkit, has launched India’s first-ever in-terminal quick commerce service at Terminal 2 of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA).
Now, whether it’s a forgotten charger, a last-minute snack or a bottle of water, passengers can simply tap on the Blinkit app and get it delivered within minutes—right inside the airport.
From App to Airport—In Minutes
The service allows travellers to place orders and receive deliveries at:
- Boarding gates
- Airport lounges
- Food courts
- Select partner outlets
Deliveries are executed by trained on-ground personnel, ensuring both speed and security without interrupting boarding timelines.
‘Reimagining Airport Experience’
An AAHL spokesperson said:
“Adani Airports is reimagining how digital services can enhance the airport experience. Bringing app-based convenience into the terminal allows passengers to make better use of their time and raises the overall service standard. This is a step towards building more responsive and passenger-centric airports.”
What You Can Order
The offering spans a wide range of essentials:
- Travel accessories & electronics
- Snacks, beverages & books
- Baby care & personal items
All permissible liquids, including packaged water and juices, are sourced in line with airport security protocols.
Beyond Convenience: A Strategic Shift
For Blinkit, the initiative marks an expansion into a high-intent, high-frequency consumer zone, while for AAHL, it unlocks non-aeronautical revenue streams through digital retail innovation.
Officials noted that the service:
- Enhances accessibility and affordability
- Eliminates time constraints in airport shopping
- Bridges a long-standing gap in passenger convenience
The Bigger Picture
With heavy passenger traffic at Terminal 2, this rollout reflects a broader push towards technology-led, seamless airport ecosystems, where every minute counts—and every need is just a tap away.
