In an era where artificial intelligence is reshaping industries and redefining careers, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is once again inviting young minds to think bigger, learn smarter and compete harder with the launch of the 2026 edition of TCS InQuizitive, one of India’s most prestigious inter-school quiz competitions.
Registrations are now open for students in Chennai, offering a unique platform for aspiring innovators, future technologists and knowledge enthusiasts to showcase their intellect while gaining exposure to emerging technologies and global trends.

Now in its 28th year, TCS InQuizitive has evolved into a highly anticipated national competition that encourages students to stay ahead in a rapidly changing world. Designed as a gamified learning experience, the quiz aims to ignite curiosity, strengthen analytical thinking and nurture problem-solving abilities among young learners.
The competition is open to students from Grades 8 to 12, including those studying in pre-university and junior college streams. This year’s edition will be conducted across 12 major cities—Pune, Indore, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, Bhubaneswar, Kochi, Kolkata and Mumbai.
Top-performing teams from each city will advance to the semi-finals before competing in the prestigious national finale in Mumbai.
The enthusiasm for the competition continues to grow. In the previous edition alone, 839 teams from 111 schools across Chennai participated, highlighting the city’s strong appetite for knowledge-driven challenges.

Recognised as one of India’s most respected school quiz platforms, TCS InQuizitive builds upon the company’s rich quizzing legacy that began with TCS IT Wiz in 1999. The 2026 edition promises a broad spectrum of engaging topics spanning education, entertainment, sports, business, advertising, social media and current affairs.
