As Artificial Intelligence reshapes industries, careers and everyday life, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is offering Ahmedabad’s students a golden opportunity to test their knowledge, unleash their curiosity and compete on a national stage through the 2026 edition of TCS InQuizitive, one of India’s most prestigious inter-school quiz competitions.
Registrations are now open for students from Grades 8 to 12, including those studying in pre-university and junior college, inviting young learners to embark on a knowledge-packed journey that combines technology, innovation and fun-filled learning.
Now in its 28th year, TCS InQuizitive has evolved into a nationally acclaimed platform that encourages students to think beyond textbooks, embrace emerging technologies and develop the analytical skills needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
Ahmedabad is among the 12 cities selected to host the competition, alongside Pune, Indore, Bengaluru, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, Bhubaneswar, Kochi, Kolkata and Mumbai. Winning teams from each city will advance to the semi-finals before competing in the grand national finale in Mumbai.
Unlike conventional quizzes, TCS InQuizitive adopts a gamified approach to learning, making knowledge acquisition engaging, interactive and future-focused.
The 2026 edition will cover a broad spectrum of subjects, including education, entertainment, sports, business trends, advertising and social media, while placing special emphasis on STEM disciplines and next-generation technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Automation, Biometrics and Robotics.
Highlighting the significance of nurturing future-ready talent, Sudeep Kunnumal, Chief Human Resources Officer, TCS, said: “India’s emergence as the world’s third most competitive nation in Artificial Intelligence, as highlighted by Stanford University’s 2025 Global AI Vibrancy Tool, marks a pivotal moment in its digital journey. As the world accelerates towards an AI-powered future, we are committed to building one of the world’s largest AI-led technology services ecosystems that drive innovation, inclusion, and long-term value. Through initiatives such as TCS InQuizitive, we seek to ignite curiosity, nurture talent, and empower the next generation to harness the transformative potential of AI, while strengthening the STEM foundation that will power a self-reliant and prosperous India.”
Education experts believe platforms such as TCS InQuizitive play a crucial role in helping students develop critical thinking, problem-solving abilities and technology awareness at an early age.
For Ahmedabad’s aspiring engineers, scientists, innovators, entrepreneurs and technology enthusiasts, the competition offers far more than trophies and recognition. It provides exposure to emerging global trends, encourages teamwork and cultivates a mindset of continuous learning.
As India rapidly advances towards becoming a global technology powerhouse, initiatives such as TCS InQuizitive are helping build the next generation of innovators who will shape the future of Artificial Intelligence, digital transformation and scientific progress.
Students interested in participating can submit their entries online through the TCS InQuizitive portal.
For Ahmedabad’s young dreamers, coders, creators and future changemakers, the message is clear: the next big breakthrough could begin with a single question.
