Designed specifically for city transit, school transportation and corporate staff mobility, the SWITCH EiV9 blends cutting-edge electric drivetrain technology, enhanced passenger comfort and industry-leading safety features while delivering one of the lowest total cost of ownership propositions in its class.
Simultaneously, the company launched its nationwide #SwitchKaro campaign, aimed at encouraging fleet owners, transport operators and businesses to embrace electric mobility as a practical, profitable and environmentally responsible choice.

The EiV9 has been engineered to maximise fleet productivity through a lightweight architecture and an advanced electric driveline that significantly enhances energy efficiency while lowering operating costs.
Fleet operators can choose from multiple battery configurations to match different route profiles and operational requirements. Regenerative braking, dual-gun CCS2 fast charging and intelligent battery management ensure higher vehicle availability and improved operational flexibility.
Powering the bus is a Permanent Magnet Variable Reluctance (PMVR) motor generating up to 213 kW of peak power, delivering smooth acceleration, dependable performance and exceptional drivability across demanding city conditions.
Passenger Comfort Meets Advanced Safety
The EiV9 has been designed around commuter comfort with a spacious cabin, full front and rear air suspension, ergonomic seating, individual USB charging ports and optional pushback seats for employee transportation.
Safety receives equal priority through a comprehensive Fire Detection and Suppression System (FDSS), disc brakes on both axles and a robust electrical architecture engineered for dependable operations under diverse operating conditions.

EiV12 Intercity Expands Electric Portfolio
Alongside the EiV9, SWITCH Mobility showcased the upgraded EiV12 Intercity electric coach, reinforcing its ambition to lead India’s long-distance electric passenger transport segment.
Purpose-built for intercity operations, the premium electric coach features reclining seats, individual multi-port charging points, floor-mounted LFP battery packs for improved stability, front and rear air suspension and dual-gun DC fast charging.
The vehicle also incorporates advanced digital rear-view camera mirrors (Digital ORVMs), a pneumatic driver seat, Fire Detection and Suppression System and SWITCH iON, the company’s proprietary connected vehicle platform that enables real-time diagnostics, predictive maintenance, remote monitoring and intelligent battery management to maximise uptime and operational efficiency.
