Headlining the festival is internationally acclaimed Master Chef Liang Xiaoqing, the visionary founder of Yi Jing in India and one of the world’s foremost ambassadors of authentic Chinese cuisine. Bringing nearly five decades of culinary excellence to Ahmedabad, Chef Liang promises an immersive dining experience that celebrates the soul, sophistication and timeless traditions of China’s diverse regional cuisines.
Curated exclusively for the festival, the menu is a tribute to centuries-old culinary artistry, showcasing recipes perfected over generations and prepared using traditional techniques. Guests can indulge in an irresistible selection of handcrafted crystal dumplings, Chef Liang’s celebrated signature roast duck, rustic braised tofu, hand-pulled knife-sliced noodles, Fujian-style seafood fried rice and an array of authentic Chinese desserts, paired with signature beverages specially crafted for the occasion.

Chef Liang’s remarkable culinary journey began in 1980, and over the past 46 years he has earned global acclaim for preserving and promoting authentic Chinese food culture. He currently serves as Chairman of the International Chinese Cuisine Communication Committee under the World Federation of Chinese Chefs. In 2025, the China Cuisine Association honoured him among the Top Eight Chefs of Remarkable Chinese Flavors and inducted him into the prestigious China Cuisine Hall of Fame Inheritance Directory, recognising his lifelong contribution to the culinary arts.
