AHMEDABAD, JULY 15
In an era when hospitals across India continue to face periodic shortages of life-saving blood, Chiripal Group has demonstrated how corporate social responsibility can become a powerful force for public health. What began as a modest employee-led initiative two decades ago has today evolved into one of Gujarat’s most inspiring and enduring voluntary blood donation movements—saving lives, strengthening blood banks and fostering a culture of compassion that extends far beyond the workplace.
Marking the birthday of Brij Mohan Chiripal, Promoter of Chiripal Group, the company has launched the 20th edition of its Annual Blood Donation Movement, reaffirming its unwavering commitment to healthcare, community welfare and the spirit of selfless giving.
The month-long campaign commenced on Wednesday-July 15, 2026, with an inaugural blood donation drive at Nandan Denim’s manufacturing facility in Piplaj, Ahmedabad. The event was inaugurated by Dineshbhai Makwana, Member of Parliament, in the presence of Jyotiprasad Chiripal.
Organised in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, Sarvodaya Blood Centre, Hiramani Aarogyadham, Zydus Hospitals, Prathama Blood Centre and Jivraj Mehta Hospital, this year’s campaign will span 26 corporate offices and manufacturing locations, bringing together nearly 20,000 employees in one of Gujarat’s largest organised voluntary blood donation initiatives.
Over the past 20 years, the movement has contributed more than 55,000 units of blood, helping reinforce blood banks and ensuring timely access to life-saving transfusions for thousands of patients. Building on this remarkable legacy, the Group has set an ambitious target of collecting 5,000 units of blood during this year’s campaign.
For Chiripal Group, the initiative represents far more than an annual CSR programme. It has become an enduring organisational tradition that unites employees across businesses, manufacturing facilities and corporate offices in pursuit of a common humanitarian goal. The movement has cultivated a culture where volunteerism, empathy and social responsibility are woven into the fabric of everyday work.
Each year, colleagues from diverse functions come together as volunteers, transforming individual acts of generosity into collective social impact while reinforcing teamwork, belonging and a shared commitment to society.

The initiative has also steadily expanded beyond the organisation’s own workforce. By partnering with residential societies, community organisations and institutions, Chiripal Group has broadened public participation, encouraging more citizens to donate blood and helping improve access to safe blood for patients across Gujarat.
“The campaign reflects Chiripal Group’s broader philosophy of creating value beyond business. Alongside its contributions across textiles, petrochemicals, renewable energy and other sectors, the Group continues to invest in activities that bring people together for a larger purpose. By encouraging employees to contribute their time and effort towards society, Chiripal has nurtured a culture where compassion and responsibility are embedded into everyday work,” said Ronak Chiripal, Promoter, Chiripal Group.
As the month-long campaign gathers momentum, the Group has invited eligible citizens, educational institutions, corporate organisations and residential communities to become part of the movement and contribute to a cause that has been making a meaningful difference for over two decades.
With every unit of blood donated, the campaign not only strengthens healthcare infrastructure but also reinforces a timeless truth—that the greatest gift one can offer is the gift of life.
