In a spiritually uplifting milestone that reflects the growing resurgence of Sanatana Dharma, Shri Sankatmochan Mahavir Neem Karoli Maharaj Mandir at Rancharda will celebrate its 100th Sunderkand Path on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at 5.30 pm, bringing together devotees in a grand congregation of faith, devotion and selfless service.
The temple, inaugurated on August 23, 2024, has emerged as one of Ahmedabad’s fast-growing centres of Hanuman devotion. Since its inception, the sacred recitation of Sunderkand has been conducted regularly, and the forthcoming event marks the successful completion of its 100th consecutive Path—an occasion being celebrated with deep reverence and spiritual fervour.
Each Sunderkand Path over the past two years has been accompanied by unique seasonal shringar and devotional offerings. Depending on the time of the year, Hanumanji has been adorned with seasonal fruits, sava mani laddus, colourful kites, jamun, namkeen and an assortment of traditional sweets, creating a vibrant atmosphere of devotion.
The temple has also celebrated major Hindu festivals—including Raksha Bandhan, Ganesh Utsav, Mahashivratri and Navratri—with great enthusiasm, strengthening its role as a centre for preserving and promoting India’s timeless spiritual traditions.
Beyond religious observances, the temple has earned appreciation for its meaningful community outreach initiatives. These include distributing Tulsi saplings as sacred offerings to devotees, inviting children from Andh Jan Mandal to participate in Ram Navami, Sunderkand Path and other festive celebrations, and welcoming senior citizens from old-age homes to join temple programmes, reinforcing the message that devotion transcends social barriers.
All 100 Sunderkand Path recitations have been performed by Pandit Vinodji and his dedicated team, whose unwavering commitment has played a pivotal role in the temple’s remarkable spiritual journey.
Expressing happiness over the milestone, Dr. Praveen Garg, Founder of the temple, said the completion of the 100th Sunderkand Path is a moment of immense gratitude and divine blessings.
“This sacred milestone reflects the grace of Hanumanji and Neem Karoli Maharaj. We remain committed to celebrating every forthcoming festival with the same devotion, enthusiasm and spirit of service while inspiring more people to embrace the eternal values of Sanatana Dharma,” he said.
The temple’s growth has also been strengthened by the dedicated seva rendered by regular devotees including Kirtibhai Patel, Bharatbhai Joshi, Rahulbhai Barot, Rushabhbhai Shah and Nirav Patel, who believe that their continued association with the temple has brought them the abundant blessings and grace of Neem Karoli Baba.
Devotees from different parts of Ahmedabad now visit the temple regularly to seek the blessings of Hanumanji and Neem Karoli Maharaj. The temple witnesses large congregations on Tuesdays, Saturdays, Sundays and during major religious festivals, steadily establishing itself as a prominent spiritual destination for seekers of faith, peace and divine grace.
