Can the spirit of sporting competition translate into stronger teamwork and camaraderie at the workplace? Chiripal Spark 2026 is bringing that proposition to life, with more than 600 employees from across 33 Chiripal Group entities coming together for a month-long celebration of sport, participation and collective achievement.
Now in its third edition, the Group’s annual sporting event began on September 5, bringing together employees across 10 teams for competitions spanning nine disciplines. With badminton, carrom, chess, running, table tennis, basketball, box cricket, football and volleyball on the programme, the initiative combines individual sporting challenges with the excitement of team competition.
Held under the inspiring theme “PLAY. PERFORM. PERSEVERE.”, Chiripal Spark 2026 is unfolding at Ahmedabad Racquet Academy, Shanti Asiatic School and Ahmedabad Sports Academy, with the venues supporting competitions across different disciplines.
New courts, new challenges
Adding fresh momentum to this year’s edition, basketball and football have made their debut, expanding the sporting line-up and creating additional opportunities for employees to participate in team-based competition.
Badminton kicked off the sporting calendar on September 5, while competitions in the remaining disciplines are continuing through September. Employees from different businesses and functions are competing for their respective teams, bringing sporting skills, determination and team spirit to the fore.
The 10-team format adds a competitive edge to the month-long programme, encouraging employees to participate across individual and team events while rallying behind their teammates.
