MUMBAI, SEPT 24

When the India jersey goes on, one athlete steps onto the field—but a billion dreams seem to move with them. That emotion beats at the heart of ‘Tere Sang Bharat’, the new anthem unveiled by JSW Group as Team India competes at the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya. Built around the belief ‘Rukna Nahin Hai’, the campaign seeks to capture the courage, commitment and relentless pursuit that define Indian athletes—and the nation that stands behind every stride, stroke, sprint and score.

  • ‘Rukna Nahin Hai’ becomes the heartbeat of JSW Inspire’s campaign as Team India takes the Asian Games stage in Aichi-Nagoya
  • Anthem film brings together 22 Indian athletes from 11 sporting disciplines, uniting diverse journeys under one powerful sporting emotion
  • JSW Inspire backs Team India as Official Sports Performance and Lifestyle Partner for the 2026 season
  • 51 JSW-backed athletes to represent India at the Asian Games, including 49 from the Inspire Institute of Sport
  • Campaign puts the India jersey, athlete resilience and the nation’s collective support at the centre of its storytelling
  • JSW Sports continues its commitment to Indian sport beyond sponsorship through athlete development and high-performance programmes

The anthem film brings together 22 athletes from 11 sporting disciplines, weaving different sporting journeys, backgrounds and ambitions into one collective expression of support for Team India.

A billion hearts behind one jersey

The campaign builds on JSW Group’s longstanding association with Indian sport and its partnership with the Indian Olympic Association (IOA).

Through JSW Inspire, the Group is Team India’s Official Sports Performance and Lifestyle Partner for the 2026 season, supporting the Indian contingent across the Glasgow Commonwealth Games and Asian Games.

The 503-member Indian contingent at the Asian Games comprises athletes and support staff representing the country across multiple sporting disciplines.

For JSW, however, the campaign is intended to be about more than a sporting event. It seeks to translate the emotional bond between athletes and the country into a simple message of perseverance: Rukna Nahin Hai.

Sukesh Nayak, Group Chief Creative Officer, Ogilvy India, said:

“The idea is simple and deeply human. The moment an athlete wears the India jersey, they carry the hopes, dreams, love and energy of Bharat. A billion people may be watching from afar, but in that moment, the strength of a billion hearts is with them on the field, telling them one thing: Rukna Nahin Hai.”

More than a campaign—an athlete’s mindset

For Parth Jindal, Founder & Director, JSW Sports, the anthem represents a belief that sport can unite the country around its athletes.

He said:

“Sport has the power to bring an entire nation together. When our athletes’ step onto the field wearing the India jersey, they carry the hopes, aspirations and energy of a billion people with them. ‘Rukna Nahin Hai’ is more than a campaign for us at JSW. It is a belief in the relentless spirit of our athletes. ‘Tere Sang Bharat’ gives that belief a voice, capturing the emotion of a nation standing behind its athletes, every step of the way. Through JSW Inspire, we are proud to stand alongside Team India as they give everything for the country at the Asian Games.”

From jersey to journey

The campaign also places the JSW Inspire Team India jersey in the spotlight, giving fans an opportunity to become part of Team India’s journey.

The jersey reflects the themes of movement, performance and national representation that underpin JSW Inspire’s partnership with the IOA.

For fans, the jersey becomes more than sportswear; within the campaign narrative, it serves as a visible link between the athletes on the field and millions watching, cheering and believing from home.

51 JSW-backed athletes, one national sporting mission

JSW’s commitment to Indian sport extends beyond sponsorship.

As many as 51 JSW-backed athletes are representing India at the Asian Games, including 49 athletes from the Inspire Institute of Sport across 10 disciplines and two athletes from the Sports Excellence Programme.

Their participation adds a performance dimension to the campaign’s larger message—creating a direct connection between athlete development, high-performance support and the opportunity to represent India at a major international sporting event.

With ‘Tere Sang Bharat’, JSW Group is inviting Indians to experience Team India’s Asian Games journey not simply as spectators, but as a collective sporting community—cheering every attempt, celebrating every breakthrough and standing behind every athlete who refuses to stop.

Because on the biggest sporting stages, the contest may be between athletes—but the emotion belongs to an entire nation.
