Steadfast MediShield Pvt. Ltd., a super specialty pharmaceutical company in renal care in India, on Wednesday announced that it has committed Rs 15 lakh for establishing a COVID-19 Lab at the Institute of Kidney Diseases and Research Center (IKDRC), Ahmedabad. This testing facility will help the community and large and will ease out the testing process in Ahmedabad wherein the cases are rising every hour, a company release said.
Yogesh Puri, CEO, Steadfast MediShield has taken a step forward to support Dr. Vineet V. Mishra, Director IKDRC & ITS, Ahmedabad’s initiative of setting up a COVID-19 testing lab.
Aman Puri, Director, Steadfast MediShield said, “We are all making efforts to find a way to help the community in our fight against coronavirus and this is our way of doing so. We are very thankful to IKDRC for taking initiative to establish the COVID-19 test lab and we are happy to do the little we can. Medical experts at IKDRC are making immense efforts to develop the lab and help in conducting research and testing on the virus.”
All the guidelines and precautions issued by the ICMR regarding testing will be carried out in this lab, which will lead to an expansion in the testing process in the city.
