Coming to the rescue of families and kin of COVID victims to pay their last respects with dignity, Isha Foundation on Monday announced that it will offer free cremation for COVID victims for the next three months at the Isha Crematoriums in Tamil Nadu. The free services will be available in all 18 Isha Crematoriums across the state.
Isha announced this humanitarian assistance in a post on its Twitter handle: “#IshaCrematoriums will offer cremation services to victims of COVID free of charge for the next 3 months as a gesture of solidarity with all those who have lost their loved ones to the deadly virus”.
The tweet has been tagged to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, Minister of Health Education and Family Welfare M Subramanian and the Tamil Nadu Health Department.

Isha maintains 12 crematoriums in Coimbatore, 4 in Chennai and one each in Namakkal and Neyveli.
