ROHAN JARDOSH
Fathers’ Day is celebrated to acknowledge and appreciate the role of fatherhood on the third Sunday of June. This year it falls on June 20.
To me, he is omnipotent ‘God’ who protects me from all and giver of knowledge.
This Fathers’ Day normalizes me being able to cry, be emotional, to express my feelings and not bottle it all up.
In childhood, when the ‘God’ could not be seen due to the crowd in the temples, then the father used to lift me on his shoulder to see, then I did not know that the one who carried me on his shoulder was the same ‘God’.
No word can justify a father’s role.
