The Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) Gujarat has announced the appointment of Ajay Patel (Synthesis-Ahmedabad) as its new chairman for the term 2021-23. The decision was taken at its annual general meeting held in Udaipur which was chaired by Sandip Sheth. Over 200 developers across the state attended the meeting, says a release.
Others who were elected for the term 2021-23 include Hemant Patel (Shrikunj–Vadodara) as the president, Neelam Doshi, Honorary Secretary (Civic Organiser–Ahmedabad), the statement added.
After taking over the chairmanship, Ajay Patel said, “It is a matter of great honour and pleasure for me to be elected as the Chairman of the apex body of real estate developers in Gujarat. I thank all the members for their support. With the cooperation of all the members and the guidance of the seniors, I am confident that on behalf of CREDAI Gujarat, I will be able to raise the issues of the real estate industry with the competent authorities.”
“Gujarat is one of the fastest growing states in India and the real estate sector in the state has grown tremendously over the last few decades. The sector has been fulfilling emerging needs of the government and the general public in the infrastructure sector. I am committed to representing the views and expectations of the construction industry in collaboration with government agencies in formulating a constructive policy for the construction industry in the near future.
“It is to be mentioned that CREDAI is associated with 39 member associations of various cities in Gujarat and its 11,000 members are being represented by this organization. We will be active in providing better infrastructural facilities to the citizens as well as increasing the activities of labour welfare,” Patel added.
