Big Boss fame actress Abirami was awarded an honorary doctorate for her excellence in Bharata Natyam, Nexus PR founder P Indran for social service and media and show designer Sudarshan Seshadri at a function held on Sunday at the Star Hotel in Coimbatore.
The honorary doctorates were awarded by St Mother Teresa University for Digital Educational Excellence and Sustainability Development, Accredited by JBR Harvard, USA and Affiliated to Cambridge Distance School of Education, UK on the recommendations of President of Indian Media Works John Amalan, says a release.
Speaking with www.navjeevanexpress.com, President of Indian Media Works John Amalan, said, “The trio were conferred with the honorary doctorate in recognition of their contributions to their respective fields. Further, they have proven that success is only the result of hard work and perseverance.”
One of the honorary doctorate recipients, P Indran said, “Success has no secret. It is the result of preparation, hard work and consistency.”

P Indran has played a major role in the field of public relation and established seven world records. Among his notable contributions were promotion of My Flag My India for Rotary International, helped in fund-raising for the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund during the 2014 Kashmir floods.
