A gym well equipped with physical fitness training equipment manufactured by the domestic companies was inaugurated on Saturday by Gujarat State Champion in powerlifting and State Bench Press holder Dev Desai, at First Floor, Orbit, behind Rajpath Club on Rajpath Rangoli Road in Ahmedabad-59 for the benefit of fitness freaks.
Speaking on the occasion, Dev Desai said that the corona pandemic has put pressure on our mental as well as physical health and has taught us to take due care of our own selves and families.
Throwing light on establishing a gym with exclusively manufactured by domestic companies, Fitness Counsellor, Macro Nutrient Expert, Body Transformation specialist Dev Desai said, “In keeping with the present trend of boosting domestic manufacturers, we have set up this facility with locally made world-class equipment at a cost of Rs 4 crore. These equipment give better results and need no replacement at specific intervals like foreign makes.”
Further Dev Desai added, “Our motto is to create awareness amongst people to be fit and healthy and change their lifestyle for a better and healthier life! We advise health freaks to give up the intake of sugar and stay healthy for a longer period. It’s a myth that only non-veg foods help in building muscles. Vegetarian foods containing rich proteins and fibres are the best for our body.”

Dev Desai is a certified fitness and nutrition expert who has won 18 gold medals in powerlifting at the Gujarat State Championships and holds the State Bench Press Record (155kg).
