ANAND, MARCH 11
Amul Dairy campus in Anand installed an Infinite Loop, a kinetic sculpture, to show its love for farmers and the power of nation-building.
It is a symbolic representation of the legacy and values of Amul. The size of the sculpture is 1800mm (6feet) in diameter and made of ambaji marble. The weight of the kinetic sculpture is 1.65 tons and is computationally designed and handcrafted by artisans. The sculpture rotates on a single axis like most of the machines in the dairy.
Sharing more on the sculpture, UrviSheth, Principal, Craft Quest said, “We chose the mathematical symbol of the infinite loop which carries various meanings. It means love, beauty & power. This relates to Amul’s love for farmers and the power of nation-building. Infinite loop means a sense of simplicity and balance, the value that the company had for the last 75 years. The symbol represents where we are and the endless possibilities we have before us. We connect this with the fact that Amul has not stopped working for even a day for all these years in any circumstance”.
