In a show of communal harmony and solidarity with Muslims, all elected reps of Hosur Corporation, higher police officers, Hindu Mahasabha, VHP, people from all religions and communities have taken part in the Islamic Information and Educational Foundation’s meet on Muslim worship practices here on Friday.
The Islamic Information and Educational Foundation organized this event at the Masjide Ahle Hadith Mosque, MG Road, Hosur and it was inaugurated by the Mayor of Hosur Corporation Satya. He was accompanied by Deputy Mayor Anandiya, other Councilors NS Matheswaran, Kannan, Devaraj and other DMK office-bearers.
On behalf of the law enforcing authority, Hosur DSP Shivalingam and sub-inspector Kumar attended the function.
Hindu Mahasabha office-bearers led by Karthik, on behalf of the VHP Gangadharan and his team; BJP Corporator M Nagaraj, office-bearer Babu; from AIADMK Nanjundasamy, Sivakumar; from Congress ex MLA Gopinath and office bearers and other parties such as VCK,, Naam Tamilar Katchi, Marimuthu from Tamil Desiya Periyakkam and other executives, businessmen, officials, hundreds of men and women from all communities attended the function.
All the people who came were warmly welcomed by the IIEF executives and all the Jamaat executives of Hosur and explained about their worship practices.
