With a view to celebrate the Tamil culture to its truest form and show the best of Tamizh way of Life, TATA TEA Chakra Gold, a flagship brand from the house of Tata Consumer Products (formerly known as Tata Global Beverages), curated one of its kind, Tamizh Special food festival, featuring delicacies from 15 districts of Tamil Nadu by locally sourced chefs, at the prime location of Marina Mall, ECR Road, Chennai.
The food festival was conceptualized keeping in mind the essence of TATA Tea Chakra Gold and the way it understands the region at its best. The look & feel of the stage was designed like a typical tea shop with thatched roof stalls, glass bottles filled with biscuits, tea stall man, newspapers and magazines hanging, and wooden benches for the visitors. The event was facilitated with engagement with the visitors with traditional village games- Pallankuzhi, and Tamil riddles, out of many, that would build a strong connect with the emotions of the region with its people.
Tamilians are proud of the way they look at life with discipline and processes, and their rich culture is an epitome of how one must practice life. This concept was prominent in the festival that displayed the core message through its local food items, ambience, conversations, and everything that brought out the best of Tamizh way of Life.
