A rousing reception was accorded to the visiting Tamil Nadu BJP President K. Annamalai, at the San Francisco airport by Tamil and Kannada groups on Saturday.
The state, BJP state secretary, SG Suryah, is also visiting USA.
The Overseas Friends of BJP (OFBJP) SFO Chapter is planning to host a reception next Sunday.
The organizers are so overwhelmed with response that they are changing venue after venue to accommodate the crowd, said a person connected to the team. Event details, including venue and time along with a flyer, will be sent soon. Local OFBJP supporters and supporters from Tamil diaspora will be attending the public reception.
A meeting with local BJP group is being held with Surya. Annamalai visit has kindled interest not only among the Tamilspora but others too. He’s likely to meet some community groups, entrepreneurs and other professionals during his stay.
OFBJP Core team member Arvinth is co-ordinating all necessary arrangements, according to Adapa Prasad, President, OFBJP-USA.
