The Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), Gandhinagar on Saturday announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Security Delta-HSD (previously known as The Hague Security Delta) on behalf of the Netherlands cybersecurity ecosystem in The Hague on Wednesday.
The MoU was signed by RRU’s School of Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security (SITAICS) assistant director Jatin Patel and Joris den Bruinen, Director- HSD at The Hague, Netherlands. The MoU singing ceremony was hosted by municipality of The Hague.
Under this MoU, RRU and Security Delta (HSD) will jointly perform various activities. They are
- Joint research and collaboration on projects in the areas of Cybersecurity, AI, Data Science, Blockchain, Crypto applications, Cyber Security and Digital Forensics between organisations from our ecosystems. Collaboration of Dutch Universities and RRU for joint training and exchange of students, faculty and interns.
- Setting up of RRU Offshore Campus/branch in collaboration with interested Netherland Universities/Institutes to promote higher studies in AI, Data Science, Blockchain & Cyber Security.
- Hosting each other’s academic/ business research delegations.
- Collaboration in teaching, research and development, and consultancy studies in the field of mutual interest.
- Exchange of academic materials and publications between our ecosystems; and
- Conducting study tours and joint consultancy work.

Security Delta (HSD) is the Dutch security cluster. HSD represents the organisations from its ecosystem that have been building relations in India in the field of business, innovation and research. This MoU is one of the building blocks towards that end. Within HSD companies, governmental organisations and knowledge institutions have been working together since 2013 to make a difference in securing our digitising society.
