Veteran producer Anand Pandit has been the driving force behind some of the most compelling stories in the entertainment business. With his name etched on some iconic films, he has never failed to experiment and go against the tide. When asked about the secret behind his success, he shares that he derives from his previous job as a real estate developer and believes that there are many similarities between the two.
He says, “Making films is just like constructing a building. You need a strong base, an efficient plan, a hard-working team, and tremendous will power. We have to be prepared with a plan B and C because things can go haywire at any point.”
Revealing more about his strategy while choosing a film, he added, “A good plot is a basic foundation for both buildings and films. My career as a real estate developer has taught me many lessons and I realize they are applicable in the film business as well. For every film we undertake, it is imperative to have these factors in place to have a smooth ride.”
It takes courage to stick it out in any field and Pandit has carved a niche for himself in two businesses, both intensely competitive and challenging. He has used his experience and expertise to build his position and continues to inspire many in both these careers.
Before becoming a successful movie producer, Anand Pandit has been a big name in the real estate field. He is the founder of Lotus Developers, a luxury real estate company in Mumbai. As the founder of Anand Pandit Motion Pictures, Anand Pandit has worked on some very iconic films. Interestingly, he is working with both the Bachchans currently – with Big B in “Chehre” and Junior Bachchan in “The Big Bull” both set to release later this year.
