Aari, Lakshmi Menon to play lead role in Madras Dech Entertainment’s Production No.1

Directed by Rajasekharapandian, the yet-to-be-titled film is a true story of the struggles and hardships faced by the oppressed sections of society. It exposes the evils of blind faith and superstition that exploit them. Aari plays the protagonist who fights for justice and dignity, while Lakshmi Menon is his love interest.

The film has a strong supporting cast that includes ‘Mime’ Gopi, Vaiyapuri, Black Pandi, ‘Jailer’ Dhanraj, Shirley Babithra, Kanimozhi and others. There is also a special appearance by a renowned actor in a surprising role. The film also has an important actor appearing in a different role, that would be the surprise element in the film.

Karthik Nallamuthu is the debut director for the cinematography

Rajasekharapandian is writing the story, screenplay and directing.

Produced by Arunachalam Anantharaman under Madras Dech Entertainment, the first schedule of the film started in Madurai with pooja and is going on in full swing.
