With a view to fulfill the Atmanirbhar Bharat (Make-in-India) aspiration of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Gujarat-based Svitch Electric has indigenously designed foldable bike and producing foldable bikes from its Sanand plant since 2018, said its founder Raj Patel here on Wednesday.
He further said, as part of its expanding its footprint, the Switch Bike launched its first showroom near SIET College at Teynampet in Chennai in association with the MM Motors, a leading automobile dealer in Chennai. The second showroom would be inaugurated at Selaiyur near West Tambaram on Thursday.

With the launching of two new showrooms, both, Svitch MM Motors exclusive showrooms situated in the heart of the city, one at Anna Salai and another at Selaiyur, will offer a sophisticated urban ambiance, perfect for those seeking a stylish and eco-conscious mode of transportation.
Both showrooms will feature Svitch’s latest models, including the highly acclaimed Svitch XE+, known for its powerful motor, long-range capability, and sleek design. Customers will also have the opportunity to test ride the electric bikes, allowing them to experience the Svitch difference firsthand.
In addition to the impressive range of electric bikes, Svitch Electric Bike showrooms will offer expert guidance and support from well-trained staff who are passionate about sustainable mobility. Besides, catering to the Indian customers, Svitch Electric bikes also exporting to many countries including US and even launched a new company there, Raj Patel said.
When asked about the expansion plan, Raj Patel said that the Svitch Electric might go commissioning a new plant in South India and preferable location would be Chennai. He said launching a new unit will mitigate burgeoning logistic costs.
