Amaran the critically celebrated film produced by Raajkamal Films International and Turmeric Media, has been officially selected as the Opening Feature Film of the Indian Panorama at the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2025 in Goa.

This prestigious honour marks a landmark achievement for the film’s creators, as Amaran leads the showcase that celebrates the finest in Indian cinema. Adding further distinction, the film has also been nominated for the Golden Peacock Award under the International Competition category—one of the festival’s most globally recognised honours—signifying its artistic depth and international acclaim.

Producers Kamal Haasan and R. Mahendran, Director Rajkumar Periasamy, and lead actors Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi will represent the film at IFFI 2025 and attend the ceremonial screening on 21 November 2025.
