Ace Designers Limited (ADL) has accelerated its growth trajectory with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art assembly facility at Panchratna Industrial Park in Ahmedabad, marking a decisive step in its next phase of global expansion.
The new plant underscores the company’s sharp focus on scaling capacity, strengthening its international footprint, and deepening its connect with key industrial clusters. Designed as a high-efficiency manufacturing hub, the facility is set to produce approximately 3,000 turning machines and 1,000 machining centres annually over the next five years.
In line with its long-term vision, ADL is driving localization through the development of a robust regional vendor ecosystem while simultaneously investing in skilled manpower. The workforce at the plant, currently around 100 employees, is projected to expand to nearly 350 personnel, reflecting the scale and ambition of the project.
Founded in 1979 by three engineers from the Central Manufacturing Technology Institute (CMTI), Ace Designers began as a design consulting firm before evolving into the Ace Micromatic Group. The amalgamation of Ace Designers, Ace Manufacturing Systems, and Micromatic Machine Tools has since positioned ADL as India’s largest manufacturer of CNC turning centres and machining centres.
With an expected turnover exceeding ₹2,800 crore in FY 2025–26, the company boasts an annual manufacturing capacity of 8,000 turning centres and 3,400 machining centres. Its footprint spans Asia, Australia, the Middle East, North and South America, and Europe, backed by over 25 years of market leadership in CNC turning and machining centres in India.
