Aiming to penetrate the home appliances market and strengthen it in retail electronics segment, Acer has officially launched Acer Plaza, its first mega concept store of the country in Ahmedabad, the Vibrant Gujarat’s commercial capital.

This flagship store houses everything from Acer and Acerpure’s latest range across laptops, smart TVs air purifiers, water purifiers, personal care, vacuum cleaner, and more creating an immersive and interactive experience for visitors—all under one roof.
The launch of Acer Plaza marks a major milestone in Acer’s journey in India, particularly as it celebrates its 25th anniversary. Ahmedabad, a rapidly growing city with a dynamic consumer base, was chosen strategically for Acer’s first concept store, reflecting the company’s commitment to engaging directly with customers and expanding its footprint in India’s burgeoning tech market.

Speaking about the sales trend, Kohli said, “While offline sale is around 80%, online sale is 20%. This shows that consumers want to experience the products before buying. As a consumer-friendly brand, we are planning to launch more brand outlets and flagship stores.”
“In Q3 2024, we moved to the number three position from number four in the IT hardware segment. We aim to move to the second slot by 2025. Our market share has grown to 15% when compared to the corresponding year’s Q3 market share of 11.7%,” Kohli added.
When asked about its marketing strategy of home appliances, Kohli said, “We are having a strong base of over 10 million customers. We are providing fresh technology at affordable prices. This milestone reflects our dedication to innovation and our commitment to Indian consumers. Our water purifiers are manufactured in Ahmedabad and other products are locally manufactured in Noida, Tirupati, Pondicherry and Gurugram units, supporting the Make in India initiative. Together, we aim to foster economic growth and technological advancement, delivering cutting-edge solutions that meet the diverse needs of Indian consumers and empower them to embrace a technologically enriched future.”
