The Adani Foundation has undertaken a number of initiatives to enhance quality of education in 15 primary schools in areas surrounding the Adani Cement Plant in Abdasa and Lakhpat talukas in Kutch, Gujarat.
Recently, it has introduced smart class facilities in 10 of these schools, a move aimed to bring digital methods of teaching to the grassroots. In addition to this, the Foundation distributed educational kits to as many as 1,150 children. For all the schools, it has facilitated the paintings of classroom walls and portions of school building with appealing visuals and text in order to make learning more informative and attractive for children.
The esteemed participants, including local leaders praised the Foundation’s efforts towards improving the quality of education in the region. The role of community leaders was also appreciated for the cooperation towards improving educational facilities in the region. The collective efforts are building a conducive environment for these children to learn and excel.
During the ceremony, students presented beautiful cultural performances, showcasing the vibrant culture of the Kutch community. The event was attended by more than 570 people, including academicians, local leaders, students, and other guests.
The move reiterates the Adani Foundation’s dedication to facilitate best education to children belonging to marginalized communities towards building empowered communities.
