AHMEDABAD, FEB 19
In a transformative push to democratise access to elite management education, the Adani Group has unveiled 24 fully funded MBA scholarships under the prestigious Adani Accelerated Leadership Programme (AALP) for the 2025–27 cohort—opening doors for exceptional young talent at India’s most coveted business schools.
The scholars, selected through a fiercely competitive nationwide process, represent the finest minds from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, and the Indian School of Business—institutions synonymous with producing India’s top CEOs, entrepreneurs, and global business leaders.
The scholars were formally honoured at the Group’s global headquarters in Ahmedabad by Karan Adani, Managing Director of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone and Director, Adani Cement.
Delivering a powerful message to the scholars, Adani declared: “This is a scholarship programme. It is conviction. At the Adani Group, we believe talent exists everywhere, but opportunity does not. These scholars are here because of merit. They competed nationally, proved their excellence and earned their place. Our role is to ensure that access, exposure and mentorship match their ambition so they can lead India’s next phase of growth.”
From villages and oil rigs to boardrooms of tomorrow
The AALP cohort represents the extraordinary diversity and ambition of India’s emerging leadership class.
Among them is Anand Babu Kamineni of IIM-Calcutta, who ranked in the top 0.1% nationally across the JEE, CAT, and UPSC examinations—an extraordinary feat for a student raised in a small Andhra Pradesh village, proving how opportunity can unleash world-class potential.
Ayush Srivastava of IIM-Lucknow brings global industry experience, having trained over 500 engineers and led major offshore technology upgrades across Europe’s oil and gas sector—combining technical mastery with strategic leadership.
Scholars such as Madhu Gupta and Kanav Bansal have already demonstrated leadership excellence by managing large teams and delivering measurable financial impact early in their careers.
Together, they represent India’s future CXOs, founders, and policymakers.
Beyond scholarships: A leadership accelerator inside India’s biggest enterprise ecosystems
Unlike conventional financial aid, the Adani Accelerated Leadership Programme is designed as a full-spectrum leadership incubator.
Scholars receive:
- Full tuition funding at premier MBA institutions
- Direct mentorship from industry leaders
- Immersive exposure to large-scale infrastructure and global operations
- Hands-on insights into ports, logistics, energy, cement, and digital ecosystems
- Strategic leadership grooming aligned with real-world business challenges
This rare blend of academic excellence and enterprise immersion gives scholars a decisive edge in leadership readiness.
Building India’s leadership pipeline for a defining economic era
As India accelerates toward becoming one of the world’s largest economies, the demand for visionary, globally competent leaders is surging.
Through AALP, the Adani Group is not merely funding education—it is engineering a leadership pipeline where ambition meets opportunity, and where tomorrow’s business architects are shaped today.
By removing financial barriers and enabling merit to flourish, the programme is redefining how corporate India participates in nation-building through education.
For aspiring MBA candidates nationwide, the message is clear: excellence can now open doors not just to elite classrooms—but to the leadership corridors of India’s most influential enterprises.
