Adani Mundra Port celebrated a groundbreaking achievement as it welcomeed the largest-ever fertilizer shipment to dock at its premises. Today marks a historic milestone in India’s maritime trade industry with the successful arrival of 100282 metric tons of D-ammonium phosphate (DAP – fertilizer) from Morocco. This monumental cargo, transported via the colossal MV Patricia Oldendorff, underscores Mundra Port’s exceptional capacity and operational prowess.
As a cornerstone of India’s port infrastructure, Adani Mundra Port has once again etched its name in history by handling an unprecedented volume of dry cargo. The MV Patricia Oldendorff embarked from Morocco’s Jorf Lasfar port carrying a weight that surpasses any previous cargo record set at an Indian port. This achievement underscores the port’s capability to manage extensive cargo capacities efficiently.
Earlier this year, Mundra Port set benchmarks with the anchoring of the MV MSC Hamburg, a vessel equivalent to the length of four football fields. Additionally, on October 20, 2023, the port achieved a milestone by successfully managing 4 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) containers. These accomplishments reflect Mundra Port’s unwavering commitment to operational excellence and efficiency in India’s maritime trade sector.
