The Alumni Association of Adani Vidya Mandir, Ahmedabad (AVMA) on Tuesday announced that it is organizing a blood and plasma donation drive as a part of the Adani Foundation and Adani Group’s continuous fight back against COVID-19.

In the spirit to give back to the society, the alumni wish to lend a helping hand to their fellow citizens in Ahmedabad. It is needless to state the importance of donating blood and plasma in these challenging times. Every effort made could help in saving lives, says a release.
Who can donate plasma
If anyone was diagnosed COVID positive and subsequently 15 days have passed since he/she tested COVID negative, he/she is eligible to donate plasma for up to 3 months. It is safe to take the vaccine after 2 days of plasma donation. However, if one has already taken the vaccine, be it the first or the second dose, then plasma can be donated only after 28 days.

Last date for registration is Friday, April 30.
After registration, blood collection van will come to your location. The process is arranged to be as safe as possible, with all COVID precautions in place.
