After hitting half century in films, Hansika forays into fantasy film as lead character. Hansika has now signed a new female-centric project in a fantasy film. The filming of this untitled film produced by Vijay Chander commenced with a Pooja on Monday!
Vijay Chander, who has directed films like ‘Valu, Sketch’ and ‘Sangathamizhan,’ is the producer. Incidentally, This is the first film being produced by Vijay Chander on behalf of Film Works.
The film is directed by the duo Sabari Greesan and Saravanan (Google Kuttappan).
“This will be a fantasy film that will appeal to children and family audiences. We will be starting shoot on February 21 and the entire film will be shot in Chennai,” says Saravanan, who has written the story, screenplay and dialogues for this film.
Mottai Rajendran, Redin Kingsley and Sriman will be part of the supporting cast.
‘Renigunta’ fame cinematographer Shakti is handling the camera. Sam CS has been roped in as the music director. National Award-winner Lalgudi Ilayaraja is the art director of this film.
The shooting of this film began on Monday with Pooja.
Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu to switched on the camera, Actor Vijay Sethupathi sounded the clap board and ace director KS Ravikumar directed the first scene.
